Luton Airport Terminal
Built at the end of 1999, Luton Airport is one of the busiest in the UK. The terminal is well equipped to handle the needs of virtually any traveler, from business to pleasure. With more than nine separate airlines operating at the airport, Luton Airport Terminal serves over nine million travelers annually. For those new to the terminal, a brief guide on facility and amenity locations can make navigating the area simpler and easier.
Check In Desks
You’ll find check in desks located conveniently along the length of the terminal wall, just across from the bank of entrance and exit doors. This ensures convenience for arriving travellers, as you only need to walk directly opposite to reach your check in desk and begin the pre-boarding process for your flight.
Luton Airport Terminal offers several Departure Lounges where departing travelers can wait prior to boarding their flights. They are located in the same area as the Arrivals Meeting Points, and can be accessed via the walkway from the main terminal building. Note that boarding generally begins about 45 minutes prior to the flight’s departure. However, travelers must arrive at the Luton Airport Terminal well ahead of their flight’s scheduled departure time.
Luton Airport Terminal offers a 24-hour left luggage facility for travellers. It’s located next to the airport’s outsize baggage facility in the check-in area of the terminal.
